Henry D. Madsen
Henry graduated from the University of Idaho in 1991 while working for Idaho Legal Aid in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1993, he moved to Kootenai County and was hired on as a deputy prosecutor for the county. In 2006 he left the prosecutors office to practice law on his own. Henry specializes in a wide variety of practice areas including criminal defense, family law, auto accidents, construction, real estate, personal injury and more.
In his spare time, Henry enjoys fishing and duck hunting. He is a proud supporter of Ducks Unlimited, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wetlands and associated upland habitats for waterfowl, other wildlife. Henry considers himself to be "a country lawyer", helping friends, family, and clients any way he can.
Alex N. Semanko
In 2016, Alex began her legal career in Boise, Idaho, working in private practice at Moffatt, Thomas, Barrett, Rock & Fields, Chtd. In 2017, she made the move up to North Idaho and joined a local law firm in Coeur d’Alene; focusing on real estate and real property matters.
Today, Alex’s practice has grown into a garden-variety of practice areas, some of which include: real property; real estate; civil litigation; business; corporate; administrative; environmental; employment; malpractice; contract; and family law.
When she is not at the office, Alex enjoys walking her pug named Reggie, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family and friends throughout the state.
Kristin - Paralegal
Kristin started her journey to become a paralegal in 2016 by attending North Idaho College and graduated with a Paralegal-Associate of Applied Science Degree with an Office Technology Intermediate Technical Certificate. Kristin has practiced in many different areas of law as a paralegal but specializes in Probate, Real Estate and Personal Injury.
Kristin was born and raised in the Coeur d'Alene area and lives with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys reading, photography, woodworking, home improvement projects and spending time with friends and family.
Victoria - Paralegal
Victoria Tobian obtained her Associate of Applied Science Degree in the Paralegal Program and her Intermediate Technical Certificate in Office Technology from North Idaho College in May of 2017. She worked four jobs, volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and did her internship concurrently while going to school full-time to obtain her degree and graduate without student loan debt. She began her career within the same year as her college graduation. Shortly after starting her career, she obtained her notary license. Victoria has over two years of experience in family law involving many high conflict cases and now works in general practice in her third year as a paralegal.
Jan - Paralegal
Jan has been with Madsen Law Offices, P.C since 2013. Jan has experience in all areas of practice that fall under Henry Madsen's scope of practice, mainly focusing on estate planning and evictions.
When she is not at the office, Jan enjoys photography, walking her Labradoodles, long-distance bike rides, kayaking, and camping.
Alex - Admin.
Alex has been with the firm since 2012. He handles a wide variety of tasks, as the administrator. He is currently enrolled at NIC to pursue his interests in physical therapy.
Alex grew up in both Hayden Lake, Idaho and Kellogg, Idaho before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps as an aircrewman. He returned home to coach high school football and started work for Madsen Law Offices, PC. When Alex isn't at the office he is either at the local ice arena with his daughter or outdoors enjoying beautiful North Idaho.
